DTF transfers are best applied to garments using a heat press. Since every press may vary, users should test and adjust settings individually. However, the following parameters are generally recommended:
Step 1: Prepare the garment
Place the garment on the heat press and pre-press it for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Step 2: Apply the transfer
Position the DTF transfer on the desired area and press firmly for about 6–8 seconds.
Pressing time may vary depending on the material.
Step 3: Remove the film
Peel the transfer film hot (HOT-PEEL).
If it doesn’t lift off immediately, wait a few seconds and try again.
Step 4: Post-press
After removing the film, press the print again for about 5 seconds using Teflon or baking paper.
This helps the print bond better with the fabric and improves durability.
⚠️ Note: Due to possible color migration on polyester fabrics, we recommend performing a test print first. If no color change occurs within 3 days, the print should remain stable
No heat press? No problem!
If you don’t have a heat press available, you can also use a regular household iron. Heat the iron to about 150 °C, place a sheet of baking paper over the print, and iron for around 1 minute. Once it has cooled down, peel off the film — and your T-shirt is ready 🙂

No special equipment is required for applying DTF-UV transfers — the transfer comes in the form of a sticker.
Step 1: Surface preparation
Make sure the surface is clean and free of dust or other contaminants.
If it is greasy, clean it with acetone or cleaning benzine.
Trim any excess transparent film from around the transfer.
Step 2: Applying the transfer
Carefully peel off the top transfer film so that the entire graphic separates from the backing sheet.
Apply the transfer to the desired surface, starting from one side.
Press the print firmly with your fingers or a squeegee.
Once applied, the transfer cannot be removed or repositioned.
Step 3: Removing the transfer film
Slowly (very slowly) peel away the transfer film from the sticker to ensure it doesn’t tear.
If any part of the design lifts during removal, stop, press that area back down carefully, and continue peeling.
If removal is difficult, gently warm the surface with hot air.
Step 4: Curing
Do not use the finished item for 24–48 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
IMPORTANT!
In DTF printing, the colors (CMYK) and the white layer are printed using separate print heads.
This means there is a risk that the white underbase may slightly extend beyond the colored areas, which can be particularly noticeable on dark fabrics.
To minimize this typical DTF effect, we print with a slight reduction of the white layer (0.15 mm) relative to the color layer.
However, please note that applying this reduction to very thin graphic elements may completely remove the white underbase in those areas, which could prevent those parts of the design from transferring properly onto the material.
